Single lever dual function control

Generally speaking there are two kinds of mechanical engine controls: dual-function single-lever controls, and single-function controls. Dual-function single-lever controls operate both shift and throttle with a single lever, the control mechanism still uses two cables, one for shift and one for throttle, but one lever operates the two cables and controls shift and throttle.

Parker’s IQAN-LSL is an analog, lever style joystick in the IQAN product group. This single axis lever has a compact design and several options, including a manual neutral detent and a switch in the top of the handle. The standard IQAN-LSL has an IP65 rating above the flange and the cable has a choice of popular sealed transportation connectors.
